I had the same problem, this fixed it for me: Windows upgrade took the old Windows 7 Conexant driver which does not work under Windows 10 I deinstalled the Conexant Audio device in the Devicemanager an ticked the "remove driver" button. I had to go into the enhancement settings Sound control panel Enhancements and enable Loudness Equalization to get the volume corrected.
